Evil Dead will be continuing its series through its sixth installment, Evil Dead Burn, and a third standalone picture. The film will be co-written and directed by Sébastien Vaniček (Infested, Crocs). The film centers around a grieving widow who decides to live with her in-laws in an isolated home. The fantastical element appears when Kandarian demons appear, and the in-laws convert into Deadites. The anticipation and horror are built throughout the teaser trailer, along with the release date reveal.
The film will be starring Hunter Doohan (Wednesday, Daredevil: Born Again), Luciane Buchanan (The Night Agent, Chief of War), Souheila Yacoub (The Salt of Tears, Making Of), and Tandi Wright (Pearl, Black Sheep). The producers include Rob Tapert (Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Xena: Warrior Princess) and Sam Raimi (Drag Me to Hell, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness), the creator of the franchise and the director for the 2002 Spider-Man starring Toby Maguire.
Another film titled Evil Dead Wrath is not linked to the storyline behind Evil Dead Burn. Evil Dead Wrath began filming on February 21 of this year and will be releasing two years from now on April 27. Francis Galluppi (High Desert Hell, The Last Stop in Yuma County) will be directing and writing. The film will also star Charlotte Hope (The Spanish Princess, Murder Most Puzzling), Josh Helman (Watching You, Jack Reacher), Jessica McNamee (Mortal Kombat, The Vow) and Zach Gilford (Good Girls, Friday Night Lights).
Evil Dead Burn will be released on July 24, 2026. Watch the official teaser below:
