Promotions for Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp are ongoing as new photo, courtesy of cast member Evangeline Lilly, has be revealed, showing Hope van Dyne suit of for the first time as The Wasp.
Lilly tweeted out the photo Monday afternoon with the caption “I am honored to be on set today playing #TheWasp on what would be Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday.” Kirby is the co-creator behind the Ant-Man comic books.
Ant-Man and The Wasp will follow in the continued adventures of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) as he balances life as a single father and the superhero Ant-Man. Hope van Dyke (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pim (Michael Douglass) give him a new and urgent mission that has him fighting alongside The Wasp.
Joining them is Michelle Pfeiffer, Judy Greer, Walton Goggins, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Pena, and director Peyton Reed. Ant-Man and The Wasp hits theaters July 6, 2018.
