‘Euphoria’ Producer Kevin Turen Pronounced Dead At 44 From Fatal Heart Issues

On November 12, the producer of Euphoria, Kevin Turen, was driving his ten-year-old son home from a tennis tournament when he was stricken by fatal health problems, forcing his son to steer them safely off the road. Turen was immediately taken to the hospital, where medical examiners ruled out drugs and alcohol as a cause and reported it as multiple heart issues. Upon arrival, Turen was soon pronounced dead at the hospital at age 44, leaving behind his wife of 11 years, Evelina Oboza, and their two sons, Jack and James.

Jay Penske, CEO of PMC and close friend of Turen, released a profound statement to Deadline concerning Turen’s passing: “He was so proud of his children. He and his wife, Evelina, were resolved that their children grow up with great values and ensured they make difference in the broader world.” TMZ was the first to report the news, shedding light on Kevin Turen’s reputation in Hollywood as a family man and his success. With well-regarded works like Sam Levinson’s Euphoria and The Idol, Ti West’s X trilogy, Trey Shultz’s Waves, Nicholas Jarecki’s Arbitrage, Nate Parker’s The Birth of a Nation, and Kornel Mondruczo’s Pieces of a Woman, Turen will forever be remembered for his talents.
