Easter Candy Peeps is Becoming an Animated Movie From Wonder Street

Picture this: The most debated type of candy, Peeps hate it or love it getting turned into an animated movie. Can’t see it? Well, better believe it because Easter candy Peeps is getting the animated movie treatment. Deadline has exclusively learned that The Mauritanian producers Christine and Mark Holder of Wonder Street will make it happen. David Goldblum (Helix, Say Goodnight) will write the script and produce with Wonder Street

Wonder Street has acquired the film and TV rights to the marshmallow candies. They have dubbed the movie as Trolls-meets-Smurfs, and it will follow a ragtag group of Peeps characters who embark on a cross-country trip to attend Peepsfest, an annual brand festival in Pennsylvania.

Just Born Inc., headquartered in Bethlehem, PA, manufactures 2 billion Peeps each year and has a wide and steadily growing range of cute Peeps-themed consumer goods and merch.

“Peeps Chicks and Bunnies have been ingrained in American pop culture for nearly seven decades due to their instantly-recognizable shapes and fan-favorite Marshmallow taste, making them the perfect characters to bring to life on the big screen,” said Keith Domalewski, Director of Marketing & Consumer Engagement at Just Born to Deadline. “We hope the new Peeps film spreads sweetness to families across the country and provides inspiration for fans to express their ‘Peepsonality’ in new ways.”

I did attend Long Beach City College for a couple of years, I then transferred to CSULB in 2019. I want to write something outside the normal, something no one would think to write about in a unique way. It also shows how far I am willing to go to produce something amazing that will get more readers interested in the world of Journalism. I am on my way to making a professional life for myself.
