Disney Confirms that They Are Making a ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Movie

Fans of the hit animated series Bob’s Burgers were excited to hear that Fox was planning on making movie based on the Belcher family’s life. Plans for a Bob’s Burgers movie were announced before Disney bought Fox but, after the Fox-Disney merger, fans of the show started to worry that Disney would cancel the movie, especially after removing Bob’s Burgers from their release schedule.

Fans even took to Twitter to ask Bob’s Burgers showrunner and creator Loren Bouchard if it was true that the movie was canceled. Bouchard, however, reassured fans that the movie would still be made and, according to Comic Book Resources, the Bob’s Burgers movie will indeed be released on July 17th, 2020.

At this time there is very little information about what exactly the movie will be about, or even how its storyline will connect with the TV series. At one point, it was announced that the movie would be a musical. We do know that Bouchard will be responsible for writing the script and, of course the show’s voice cast- H. Jon Benjamin, John Roberts, Dan Mintz, Kristen Schaal and Eugene Mirman- are expected to reprise their roles. Bob’s Burgers first started airing in 2011 and is already into its 10th season.
