Daniel Radcliffe Tapped for FBI Thriller ‘Imperium’

Harry Potter joins the Feds? Yep, it’s true!  Everyone’s favorite boy wizard Daniel Radcliffe has signed on to star in the upcoming FBI drama Imperium.

Radcliffe will portray a young FBI agent sent undercover to infiltrate white supremacist and neo-Nazi groups who are working to develop a dirty bomb.  The story itself is based on the real-life experiences of FBI agent Michael Green and his years inside US based militia and neo-Nazi organizations.  Green co-wrote the script alongside short filmmaker Daniel Ragussis.  Ragussis makes his feature directorial debut on the project.

Radcliffe has not been wanting for work as of late.  He can currently be seen in the comedy Trainwreck and will next be seen as Igor in the upcoming Frankenstein re-imagining Victor Frankenstein, set for November release.  In addition, he’ll be seen in the upcoming illusionist thriller Now You See Me: The Second Act and is currently filming the drama Swiss Army Man for writer/directors Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

Imperium, from Atomic Features and Tycor International Film Company, is currently slated for a 2016 release.
