‘The Night Clerk’ Adds Helen Hunt, John Leguizamo, Ana de Armas to Cast

According to the Hollywood Reporter, The Night Clerk’s cast has expanded to include two-time Academy Award nominee Helen Hunt (The Miracle Season), John Leguizamo (John Wick), and Ana de Armas (Blade Runner 2049). Starring Tye Sheridan (Ready Player One) as an intelligent hotel clerk on the autism spectrum, the thriller revolves around a murder at the hotel. Initially pegged as a suspect, the night clerk must now stop the real culprit from committing a second murder.

Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Cristofer (Broadway’s The Shadow Box) will helm from his own screenplay.

Hunt was seen earlier this year in the sport drama The Miracle Season and is in Netflix’s comedy Candy Jar. Leguizamo will reprise his role as Aurelio in the third John Wick film. De Armas has just wrapped up filming the crime drama Three Seconds, and is currently filming the untitled Danny Boyle-Richard Curtis musical for Universal.

The Night Clerk is currently filming in Utah and is set to release sometime late this year or next year. We will update you on an exact date for its release sometime in the near future.
