‘No Stranger Than Love’ Starts Filming In Toronto With Alison Brie, Colin Hanks, and Justin Chatwin

Dave McNary of Variety has just reported that filming has begun in Toronto on the Indie romantic comedy No Stranger Than Love. Paul Fler (Son of the Sunshine) is producing, and Nick Wernham (son of Richard Wernham), is directing from a script by Steve Adams (nephew of Kurt Vonnegut).

No Stranger Than Love stars Alison Brie, who started her career on Hannah Montana, and is best know as  main cast member Annie Edison on Community and Trudy Campbell on Mad Men. Brie portrays a small town high school art teacher who is about to begin an affair with the  school’s married football coach played by Tom Hanks’ oldest son, Colin (Orange County, the sci-fi Roswell series) when an inter-dimensional wormhole opens up in her living room floor and Hanks disappears.

There are no details on the part Justin Chatwin, who recently made headlines for the news that he would not be returning to the Showtime hit series Shameless, will play. Justin is best known for portraying Tom Cruise’s son in War of the Worlds.
