Comedian and actor TJ Miller, from films such as Cloverfield, Deadpool, and How to Train Your Dragon is finalizing his involvement in Will Eubank’s deep sea thriller Underwater. This follows the announcement on Tuesday that Game of Thrones actress Jessica Henwick will also be involved.
The film stars Kristen Stewart as disgruntled crew member of an underwater scientific diving team as their mission is thrown into disarray by an earthquake. It quickly becomes a fight for survival under the ocean and is described as an underwater Armageddon by Variety.
The film will be released through Fox and is scheduled to begin production in New Orleans this month. Peter Chernin, producer of Oscar nominee Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, is set to produce.
