Claudia Lee Joins Cast of New Skateboarding Film ‘Paved New World’

Claudia Lee is the newest actress to join the cast of a new skateboarding film titled Paved New World, according to Variety. Lee is best known for her roles in Kick-Ass 2, The CW’s Hart of Dixie, and The Girl in the Photographs. She will be playing a biker and love interest of one of the characters in the film.

Paved New World follows the story of a young man named Gibby who is going through a life crisis as he is graduating high school. He and a friend decide to head off to Widow Maker Mountain where he will try to skate the impossible terrain and prove he is still the idol he once was.

Paved New World will feature an interesting cast of Youtube stars and actors, including Andy Schrock, Chad Tepper, Daniel Pinder, and Kamilla Alnes (American Horror Story). Alexander Garcia is taking up the director spot, and with a ton of experience within skateboarding and an induction to the Freestyle Skateboarding Hall of Fame, we should be provided with fun cinematography and fantastic tricks and stunts. Garcia is producing alongside Brad Krevoy and Anne Stimac, and will receive a script from Scott Marcano and Kip Koenig. Currently, the film does not have a release date, but expect the film to release sometime within the next two years.
