Check Out the Stunning New Poster for ‘Rogue One: A Star Wars Story’

After the much debated reshoots, everyone has been begging Disney for updates on the new Star Wars spinoff, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Giving fans just a tease of the new film, an artistic poster was released at the Star Wars Celebration Europe in London.

Rogue One serves as a prequel to the original trilogy, set before the events of Star Wars: A New Hope. It follows the group of Rebel soldiers who infiltrate the Death Star and steal its plans — the same plans that allow Luke Skywalker and co. to destroy the base. Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything) stars as the protagonist, Jyn Erso, and is joined by Diego Luna (Elysium), Riz Ahmed (Nightcrawler), Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale), and Alan Tudyk (Serenity).

Although the poster does not feature any main, or even supporting, characters, the tagline firmly solidifies the theme of perseverance and power, as evidenced in the first trailer. We also get a glimpse of the Death Star, massively taking over most of the poster and background.

Be sure to catch Rogue One in theaters on December 16. See the poster below.
