Catwoman Is Getting Her Own Animated Movie

The character of Catwoman has appeared on screen many times over the years. She was an antagonist in Batman (1966), Batman Returns, and The Dark Knight Rises, and of course there was the infamous and reviled 2004 Catwoman movie that starred Halle Berry. She has also appeared in countless shows, video games, and animated movies. Now according to Cinema Blend Batman’s fierce feline foe, Catwoman, is getting her own animated movie.

Catwoman will be starring in her own movie called Catwoman: Hunted, which will be released in 2022. The plot will follow Catwoman on her quest to steal a valuable jewel, which unfortunately makes her a target for many powerful foes including Interpol, Batwoman, and some tough criminals.

Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman, will be played by actress Elizabeth Gillies, of Dynasty fame. Other cast members will include Steven Blum, Keath David, Zehra Fazal, Jonathan Frakes, Kirby Howell-Baptiste, Kelly Hu, Andrew Kishino, Eric Lopez, Jacqueline Obradors, Ron Yuan, Stephanie Beatriz, Jonathan Banks, and Lauren Cohan.

So far it has been confirmed that actress Beatriz of Brooklyn 99 fame is going to voice Batwoman. Banks, from Better Call Saul, is going to be voicing Black Mask. Also Cohan is going to voice the character Julia Pennyworth.
