‘Broken Hearts Gallery’ Will Open in Theatres July 10

The new romantic comedy Broken Hearts Gallery, executive produced by Selena Gomezis set to have a theatrical release on July 10.

Broken Hearts Gallery is both written and directed by first time director Natalie Krinsky. Its upcoming release will mark one of the first official releases in a reopened theater following the entertainment industry’s shutdown thanks to the coronavirus pandemic and social distancing precautions. While it is unclear what theaters will look like when they reopen, some locations will begin opening as early as the third week in June.

In a statement about the film, Gomez said, “Hearing from more female writers and directors is very much needed. Natalie is a wonderful talent, and I am happy to be a part of her debut film. I understand people’s concerns regarding returning to activities we all loved prior to COVID-19. I hope everyone will listen to scientists’ recommendations and consider others’ health and safety while enjoying the movie theater experience.”

Broken Hearts Gallery is being distributed via Sony and stars Geraldine Viswanathan, Dacre Montgomery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Molly Gordon, Suki Waterhouse Phillipa Soo, Arturo Castro, Ego Nwodim, Taylor Hill and Bernadette Peters. Hopefully, the film will allow audiences to reconnect with movies theaters again and bring laughter during a difficult time.
