In last year’s film, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Shuri, played by Letitia Wright, stepped up to the plate to take on the role of Black Panther. In an interview with Variety, Wright expressed that there could be a possibility of a Black Panther 3.

In another interview with Buzzfeed, Wright clarified what she said in the Variety interview. Wright explained, “What I tried to say, maybe I didn’t do it clearly enough, to clarify, there is always the hope that you would have another film, especially in a franchise.” She continued, “If there is to be another film, which I hope there will be, I think there will be; it takes time to make it; you have to go through the script process.”

Comicbook had an exclusive interview with Wright, she told Comicbook about Shuri and the possibility of Black Panther 3, Wright stated, “I will know as soon as you know.” And Collider got insight from the Marvel producer Nate Moore about his take on Black Panther 3. Moore expressed, “There are certainly ideas we’ve floated around of what a third film could be if we get to make it.”

At the moment there hasn’t been any news from Marvel Studios about a third Black Panther but don’t give up hope, because there is a possibility that Black Panther 3 could be in the works in the near future.
