Big Game Spot On Puppy Bowl 2026 Shows Sneak Peak For ‘Supergirl’

On the Animal Planet channel in the adorable alternative for non-sport stands the Puppy Bowl aired a teaser for the upcoming Supergirl movie showcasing Krypto the iconic super dog. The trailer shows Milly Alcock again though this time there is a greater focus on the dog of the hour. We get a short glimpse in the opening scene of Alcock in a white robe in what looks to be some sort of temple on Krypton pre-absalute destruction. Alcock as Kara holds up a dirt covered Krypto who looks only a little guilty by his situation of what looks to have been digging in some kind of rubble. Or not, as he is sern to be happily picked up by Kara. Between that a black screen with white text with the phrase, “On June 26 power is unleashed” is seen. Walking with Kara are more Kryptonions in white hoods whose role in the film is yet to be revealed.
From there we are treated to a voice over of Kara and another character discussing the planets destruction wity the conversation being interspliced with the hit song Call Me from the band Blondie released in 1980. Kara goes on to describe Superman as “Someone who sees the good in everyone,” then descring herself as one who sees the truth. A montage of different action packed scenes follow with segments that appear to be the planet Krypton mid collapse, a golden doom descending onto the city, Kara battling a rouges gallery after being held up by dozen of lazer sighted guns, the Super’s red laser eyes blasting them back, and some space ship diving nose first into a cliff face. Then another adorable clip of Kara and Krypton cuddling.
Two final clips of Kara hurling some metal object back at her opponent on top of what looks like the roof of the crashed ship and another short look at Krypto barking while he stands in a grassy field. So far there have been no clear direct looks at the films named villain Lobo played by Jason Mamoma.
How this all ties together will have to be seen in theaters at the films premiere on June 26 later this year.
