‘Avengers Endgame’ to be Re-Released with Bonus Footage

With nearly everyone seeing Avengers Endgame at this point, its gradual shift away from the box office seemingly lowers the likeliness of it beating out James Cameron’s Avatar. However, Disney has found a way to rejuvenate people’s interest in seeing the film before it comes out on Blu-Ray, announcing a re-release for Endgame on June 28th, albeit with a bit of a catch.

This re-released Endgame will include bonus footage as something of a post-credits scene. This is mostly due to the fact that Endgame originally lacked a post credits when it was first released, a rarity for the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Kevin Feige expressed that this new release will have tons to offer, stating “There’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises.”. Some are critiquing this move as a cheap way for the film to make more money, as it’s currently still in theaters and feels to early to initiate a re-release. Nevertheless, fans will be intrigued to what bonuses Feige is promising. Even if it’s just a way for Marvel Studios to make more money, fans would love to see The Avengers beat out James Camerson’s Blue Aliens, and they’ll do whatever it takes for it to happen.

Avengers Endgame’s will be re-released on June 28th 2019.

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
