In addition to the new international trailer covered here, readers watching ABC’s coverage of the New Year last night were treated to more new footage from Cinderella.
Just before the stroke of midnight, viewers were treated to the clip on television and it was also released at midnight on the official Twitter account. In the one-minute clip, seen below, viewers get a glimpse at the more nostalgic parts of the movie, including a strain from the song from the original film “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes” as well as a bit of the silliness associated with the transformation of the animals for the pumpkin coach, particularly the goose-turned-driver. Viewers also get a look at Cate Blanchett’s cruelty as the Evil Stepmother and Helena Bonham Carter’s eccentricities as Fairy Godmother. Cinderella will be released on March 13.
