Alexander Skarsgård and Michael Peña Declare ‘War on Everyone’

Alexander Skarsgård (The Legend of Tarzan) and Michael Peña (Ant-Man) headline John Michael McDonagh’s new darkly comic thriller War on Everyone. McDonagh’s name should arouse cinephile curiosity as he is the wry and acidic voice behind the recent and high rated films The Guard and Calvary; he’s also the brother of acclaimed writer Martin McDonagh (In BrugesSeven Psychopaths). The new trailer for War on Everyone has premiered in all it shoot ’em up mania.

Skarsgård and Peña portray Terry and Bob, two morally comprised New Mexico cops who pass their days framing and blackmailing any criminal that has the gall to cross their path. The duo meet their match when attempting to double cross a strip-club manager and his junkie boss. How wild will this adventure get? The ensemble cast includes Tessa Thompson (Creed), Caleb Landry Jones (Heaven Knows What), Paul Reiser (Whiplash), Malcolm Barrett (Addicted to Fresno), Stephanie Sigman (Spectre) and Theo James (Divergent).

War on Everyone first hits DIRECTV on January 5th, followed by a limited theatrical run and on demand play on February 3rd. Check out the latest trailer below.
