The red-band trailer and new poster for The King’s Man, the third film in the Kingsman trilogy, was released by 20th Century Studios, and let’s just say what an action-packed trailer it was; it might even be better than its previous installments.
The King’s Man is an origin story set in the early 1900’s during World War 1. It explores the beginnings of the famous espionage organization that fans came to know in the first two films, Kingsman: The Secret Service and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.
The King’s Man is based on the comic book by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons called The Secret Service. The film was directed by Matthew Vaughn and co-written by Vaughn and Karl Gajdusek.
As history’s deadliest tyrants and criminal masterminds meet to prepare a war that would wipe out millions, one man must race against the clock to stop them.
The film stars Ralph Fiennes (Harry Potter franchise), Gemma Arterton (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters), Rhys Ifans (Snowden), Matthew Goode (A Discovery of Witches), Tom Hollander (Pride & Prejudice), Harris Dickinson (The Darkest Minds), Daniel Brühl (Captain America: Civil War), Djimon Hounsou (Blood Diamond), and Charles Dance (Me Before You).
Following multiple postponements, it looked like the trailer was never going to come, similar to fans *cough cough* waiting for that Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer.
The King’s Man is expected to be released in theaters on Dec. 22, 2021, but we shall see if that date holds steady. Check out the trailer below!
