2016 Tribeca Film Festival Award Winners

The juried awards for the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival have been announced and Dean, a new film written, directed and starring comedian Demetri Martin (Taking Woodstock) prevailed. Martin’s directorial debut, a bittersweet comedy centering around a young artist thrust into adulthood, won The Founders Award for Best Narrative Feature. Martin stars alongside Gillian Jacobs (Love), Reid Scott (Veep) and Oscar winners Kevin Kline and Mary Steenburgen. Stay with us as we continue our coverage on the 2016 Tribeca Film Festival.
