‘Zombie Plane’ Adds Chuck Norris, Sophie Mink, And Vanilla Ice To The Cast

Theater screens will soon get another taste of the 90’s very soon. The action-comedy Zombie Plane is arriving from Australian-based Radioactive and US-based Entertainment Squad.

Zombie Plane collects a whole slew of classic 90’s actors, with the movie following the story of a secret government agency that recruits celebrities as operatives meant to save humanity from an imminent zombie attack. The film stars Chuck Norris, Vanilla Ice, and Sophie Monk, all playing themselves, joined by plenty of other celebrity cameos.

Norris plays a Commander version of himself set to train Vanilla Ice into a dangerous agent. According to Hollywood Reporter, the film was shot earlier this year and was helmed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Pier. It will also feature a soundtrack featuring 90’s pop music, including songs from Ice himself.

“Audiences can expect a wild ride,” said producer Jessica Butland. “Vanilla Ice is in his element as secret agent, and Chuck Norris having trained him is excellent, and it just works.”

Shaked Berenson, Entertainment Squad founder, said, “Zombie Plane uses comedy, the zombie genre, and ’90s nostalgia as a vehicle to comment on pop culture as much as it feeds it, creating unforgettable one-liners and situational comedy ‘to the extreme.'”
