Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler Beat ‘The House’

How do you send your child to college when you’ve drained the college fund? For Will Ferrell and Amy Poehler in the upcoming comedy The House, the answer is simple: start an illegal casino in your basement. Makes sense. Warner Bros. has just released the first trailer for the film, doubling down on the Saturday Night Live veterans.

Director Andrew Jay Cohen makes his directorial debut and co-wrote the film with Brendan O’Brien – the duo previously contributed to the scripts to comedy hits Neighbors and Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising. The impressive ensemble cast includes Jason Mantzoukas (The League), Nick Kroll (Loving), Allison Tolman (an Emmy nominee for the FX limited series Fargo), Michaela Watkins (Casual), Jesse Ennis (Veep) and Jeremy Renner (Arrival).

Check out the trailer for The House below. The film hits theaters on June 30th.
