A Minecraft Movie has certainly made an impression following its release in theaters. Through its many “meme-able” moments, the film has created a phenomenon in current pop culture. Rowdy crowds flocked to the theaters to experience the film for themselves, and chaos in the theaters has been the result.
Maybe you’ve been wanting to see A Minecraft Movie, but the chaotic theater setting has deterred you. Fortunately, now you can! A Minecraft Movie was released on streaming on May 13th. It is available to buy on services like Prime Video and Apple TV for $20.
However, if you are holding out for a subscription-based streaming option, you will have to wait a little longer. While A Minecraft Movie is planned to be added to the streaming service Max, it is not yet available. It will not be available until after A Minecraft Movie has finished its theatrical run. It is likely that this will not be until late May or early June.
In addition to streaming options, Warner Bros. has announced that physical media will be available on June 24th, in the form of DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K Steelbook. You can pre-order these from Amazon, starting at $19.95.
Having made nearly $1 billion at the worldwide box office, it will be interesting to see how much further A Minecraft Movie will go. You can check out the trailer below.
