We’re not busting the theme completely – this movie’s based on the true story of the D.C. sniper. And this is a hell of a trailer.
#5 – Bears Official Trailer 2
This is going to appeal to a very specific audience and it knows it. The trailer leans hard into the cute-factor at play. Then again, those are some very cute bear cubs.
#4 – Off Label Teaser Trailer
In case you didn’t know, we (meaning Americans, but widen it to a significant percentage of the world’s population and it’d still be true) are the most heavily medicated people that have ever lived. Far and away. And while drugs can do some remarkable things, they also can develop severe chemical dependencies.
#3 – Good Ol’ Freda Official Trailer 1
The “Freda” in the title is Freda Kelly, who for ten years was secretary for The Beatles. She toured with them, lived among them, was around them throughout the entirety of their peak. And this is a documentary that focuses on her behind the scenes perspective. Pretty cool.
#2 – Drew: The Man Behind the Poster Official Trailer 1
Though it came in just shy of the top spot on this week’s list, this may be the documentary that looks, pure and simple, like the most fun. Its subject is Drew Struzan, and if you’re not familiar with his name, as you’ll see in the trailer, you’ve probably seen his work.
#1 – The Trials of Muhammad Ali
Younger generations know Muhammad Ali only in name. They know him as a great boxer, a public icon of a bygone era. But this documentary focuses on the forces that troubled that icon. And it is riveting.
