Blumhouse, company known for its bone-chilling horror films, has been behind not just one of the biggest horror movies of 2017, but one of the biggest movies of 2017 in general: Get Out. Now, they have a new offering on the table: Truth or Dare, led by director Jeff Wadlow.
A horror flick in tradition with the genre, Truth or Dare centers around a group of young friends who have no idea what kind of terrifying situation is about to unfold from the game which they play together with a new person in addition to their trip (the game being-you guessed it-truth or dare). It seems like there’s a new player in on their “fun,” one with most likely supernatural connections, which drives the action and suspense of the movie.
The film has a cast which boasts plenty of players which have established themselves in the teenage and young adult-watched circles: Aurora Perrineau, Lucy Hale, Tyler Posey, Nolan Gerard Funk, Violett Beane, Landon Liboiron, Brady Smith, and Sam Lerner.
