Warner Bros released the second trailer to Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore today. In this new look into the upcoming film, Michael Gambon, who played the titular character in the Harry Potter franchise, speaks of memory, how it is everything, and without it, we are blind. The fate of the world will be left to chance. Dumbledore is the most powerful wizard in the world, and the long anticipation to witness his epic duel with Grindelwald makes Harry Potter fans wish it was already April.
The actor replacing Johnny Depp as Grindelwald is Mads Mikkelsen. The latest trailer provides evidence that Mads Mikkelsen is set to be an amazing Grindelwald. Mikkelsen resume for movie villains is pretty impressive, including Casino Royale, Doctor Strange, and Hannibal. Only this time, he’ll be pushing Dumbledore to choose a side: wizards or Muggles (humans). It seems that Law and Mikkelsen have established a strong tie to Dumbledore’s and Grindelwald’s younger and complex relationship, setting up the characters’ lives that fans know now in the main popular franchise.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter will return in Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore set for release on April 15, 2022. Check out the latest new trailer below:
