Upcoming James Bond Film ‘No Time To Die’ Officially Wraps Production

After a long hiatus, James Bond is finally coming back after 2015’s Spectre. The newest film in the 007 franchise, No Time to Die, is slated to be Daniel Craig’s last performance as the iconic secret agent. After a troublesome production with director changes and delays throughout the last few years, No Time to Die officially wrapped production on October 25th 2019.

The 25th James Bond film has been through a lot over the past few years, initially having Oscar-winner Danny Boyle attached to direct the project.  Boyle ended up getting replaced by True Detective director Cary Fukunaga.  The trouble did not stop there, with the movie being filmed at various locations all around the world and production was delayed even further after Daniel Craig suffered an on-set injury. Fortunately though, production has been completed and the official James Bond Twitter page made the announcement with a photo of both Craig and Fukunaga on set for the last time.

Not much is known about the film plot-wise outside of the cast and crew, though details should surface sometime within the next few months. In fact, it;s very likely that No Time To Die will receive its first official trailer pretty soon, with high-profile blockbusters like Terminator Dark Fate and Star Wars: Rise of the Skywalker on the horizon. With that in mind and also the fact it’s set for a Spring 2020 release, it won’t be too much longer for longtime 007 fans to witness the first look of the iconic spy’s next major adventure.

No Time to Die is set to release on April 8th 2020.

Ryan Pineda: When it comes to film, animation, video games and other mediums, I can discuss for hours about how much on why certain films and animated media made me the person I am today. I adore the artistic merit that comes from a lot of pop-culture media and will definitely love to have a conversation about favorite movies any day! I have graduated in 2017 with a BA in Film and Television at the University of Arizona. Been passionate about writing about films due to always having an interesting outlook on the medium. Will always see a film and will definitely be sure to recommend it to someone that I know for a fact would love that movie. Not only that but will also give reasons for why I think that film did or did not work as a movie, and the same can go for other pieces of media like television, video games and especially animated projects.
