The upcoming Borderlands movie has just gained a new cast member, Florian Munteanu. Munteanu is a former heavy weight boxer, but he is best known for playing Viktor Drago in Creed II. He will also be playing Razor Fist in the upcoming movie Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
Screenrant reports that Florian Munteanu will be playing character called Krieg in the movie. Krieg debuted in the second Borderlands video game as a playable Psycho class character. He is a human mutant who was born into a family of bandits, and he is a member of the Crimson Raiders. Krieg also appears in Borderlands 3 as a NPC. In the Borderlands movie Krieg is going to serve as a protector for the character Tiny Tina, who is a teenage explosive expert. Tiny Tina is being played by actress Ariana Greenblatt, who is known for her performance in Love and Monsters.
The Borderlands movie is being directed by Eli Roth, who is best known for directing Cabin Fever, The Green Inferno, and Hostel. The script for Borderlands was written by Aaron Berg and Craig Mazin. The movie’s other cast members besides Munteanu and Greenblatt include Jack Black, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Kevin Hart.
