Trailer for ‘Women Who Kill’ Has Been Unveiled

The creators of Women Who Kill have released new trailer. While the film is based in the genre of romantic comedy, it also has more sinister underbelly: horror and murder. Nonetheless, its humor will be central throughout the film, complicating its message, plot, and overall vibe. The film also separates itself from most romantic comedies, in that it follows the relationship between two women, a less-explored section of the genre. These distinctions, among other well-received qualities, have helped the film earn a killer reputation in the film festival circuit.

The film begins with two female love interests (Morgan and Jean), who run a podcast on serial killers. Previously broken up, they continue to work on their podcast together. Even worse for their relationship, a potential murderer named Simone throws a wrench in any possibility of them rekindling their romance.

The cast includes Ingrid Jungermann (The Slope) as Morgan, Ann Car (The Actress) as Jean, and Sheila Vand (Argo) as Simone. Additionally, Jungermann isn’t just starring in the film- she wrote and directed it as well.

Those excited for the film only have a little bit longer to wait for its release — Women Who Kill will start playing this summer on July 28.
