Trailer for Next Foreign Film, ‘Loro,’ Directed by Academy Award-Winning Paolo Sorrentino

The first trailer is out for the next foreign film, Loro, directed by Academy Award-winning Paolo Sorrentino. Toni Servillo, who has worked with Sorrentino before in other films, will be joining the director yet again. This time, he will act as Silvio Berlusconi, the eccentric former political figure. The cast will also include Ricky Memphis, Ricardo Scamarcio, and Elena Sofia Ricci.

The film, Loro, centers around a man (Berlusconi) who used to be famous for being the prime minister (at a whopping four terms), though he might have been more famous for his excessive and grandiose use of his immense wealth.

Sorrentino is best known for his 2013 movie, The Great Beauty. In fact his work on the film is extremely prestigious, as the movie earned the Best Foreign Language Film title at the Academy Awards.

Though the film is not currently in theaters, it will probably make an appearance at the Cannes Film Festival.
