Those who witnessed the majesty of James Franco‘s performance in Spring Breakers are no doubt jonesing for another hit of evil James Franco. Well, that time has come, and the movie is a thrilling new project called Kin.
Kin focuses on an ex-con, played by Jack Reynor. He and his brother (Myles Truitt, in his first movie role) get into some huge trouble and then choose to get the hell out of dodge. The brother has obtained some sort of alien super-gun, and they are being pursued by James Franco and his vicious followers. Also, it looks like the aliens have an interest in getting their weapon back.
Kin also stars Dennis Quaid, Zoë Kravitz, and Carrie Coon.

The only thing more powerful than an alien mega-weapon is the bond between family members. Kin will arrive in theaters on August 31st.
