Tom Holland has been known for giving away spoilers in interviews, but he is making sure to not give away anything for his upcoming film Spiderman 3. Rumors have been going around that Spiderman actors Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield will make cameos in the new film, but Holland claims that he is almost positive that they will not appear in it.
When asked if they will make a cameo while being interviewed by Esquire, Holland stated that he was “positive” that they will not, “No, no, they will not be appearing in this film. Unless they have hidden the most massive piece of information from me, which I think is too big of a secret for them to keep from me. But as of yet, no. It’ll be a continuation of the Spider-Man movies that we’ve been making”.
Before this, Holland said that Marvel wasn’t telling him if Maguire and Garfield were making an appearance or not, but now he seems to know. It is possible that Holland is telling the truth, but since it is known that Holland is frequently giving away important secrets, he could be hiding the truth. The interview was in December 2020, so it is also possible that things have changed since then.
