Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey is only a month away, and film fans everywhere are hotly anticipating the film. To ride that wave of excitement, Tom Holland (who will be playing Telemachus in the film) has challenged fans to see the film in as many formats as possible.

In a promotional video with Letterboxd, a popular social media app for film lovers, Tom Holland unveiled a digital punch card with some of the premium formats The Odyssey will be available in. Letterboxd users will be able to check off every format they see the film in. Some of the included formats are IMAX 70mm, IMAX, Dolby Vision, 70mm film, 35mm film and Premium Large Formats. The punch card appears to be only for showing off, as he did not specify any reward for user accounts for checking off formats. In the video, Holland jokes, “Bragging rights fully unlocked.” The feature has not yet been added to the site, but it is expected to appear before The Odyssey opens on July 17.

The Odyssey is Christopher Nolan’s first film since the smash hit Oppenheimer back in 2023. The film grossed nearly $1 billion at the global box office, making it the highest-grossing biopics of all time and one of the highest-grossing R-rated films.  The Odyssey is of course based on the classic Homer poems of the same name, chronicling Odysseus’ long journey home as well as his son Telemachus and wife Penelope’s struggles back home. Alongside Tom Holland, Matt Damon plays Odysseus, and Anne Hathaway is Penelope. The supporting cast is filled out by the likes of Robert Pattinson, Zendaya, Elliot Page, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal, Benny Safdie and Mia Goth. The film opens everywhere on July 17.
