There’s currently a new indie horror movie in the works called Tables, and it dares to ask a question that no other movie has ever asked before: “what if tables came to life and tried to kill us?” But fear not, because these sentient tables have a weakness and that weakness is legendary MMA fighter Ronda Rousey.
Tables is being directed by Justin Golightly and Kyle Nilges, with Rousey and Travis Browne serving as producers. The description of the movie’s plot is that, “All hell breaks loose on a peaceful retreat as a strange and violent force terrorizes Browsey Acres. The stipulations have changed for Ronda Rousey and friends in the brand new survival horror, Tables.“
A trailer for this horror comedy has already come out showing off the WWE superstar’s fighting skills against evil killer tables. Joining Rousey on her quest to rid the world of murderous furniture is Brown- another MMA fighter- and Rousey’s actual sister, judo fighter Julia DeMars. Pro wrestleres Devon Hughes and Saraya “Paige” Bevis will also be appearing in the movie.
Rousey’s previous acting credentials include The Expendables 3, Furious 7 and Mile 22. She’s already posted some of the movie’s deleted scenes and gag reels on her official YouTube channel, which also contains more content and information on Tables.
