It really is great to be an Auburn Tiger! The votes are in and the world premiere of Melissa McCarthy’s Life of the Party will be soon launch at none other than Auburn, Alabama. Like many other universities, the college entered the film’s contest to determine a campus on which to first show the film. In order to be eligible for screening tickets, the students need to submit their information on the movie’s official website for a chance at going to the see the film. Good luck, and War Eagle!
The runner-up schools need not be disappointed because the movie also aims to host special screenings in the schools area so that all may have the opportunity to view Life of the Party.
The college comedy is headlined by McCarthy, who performs as a housewife, Deanna. Her marriage collapses, and she decides that despite her hurt, she will go out into the world and better herself. She decides to join a university, Decatur, which happens to be the exact place her daughter attends, much to her child’s chagrin. Cue the chaos!
