Tom Sierchio, scribe of Untamed Heart, makes the leap to writer/director with his debut indie romance drama, The Girl Who Invented Kissing, starring Adelaide Clemens (The Great Gatsby) and Natalie Dormer(Game of Thrones, Elementary).
In The Girl Who Invented Kissing, Adelaide Clemens (currently named ‘the girl’) is a mysterious woman who gets off a bus on a rainy night in a small town. She takes refuge in the local bar and hangout of brothers Tommy, played by Zachary Quinto (best known as Spock in Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness) and Victor (played by Timothy Simons of TV’s Veep with Julia Louis Dreyfuss). Sparks immediately fly between the stranger and younger brother Tommy, but for some reason she turns her affections toward Victor, the brunt of bar jokes and bullying because of his impairments from a traumatic brain injury incurred from a car accident in his youth. Both brothers fall hard for the woman who ruffles feathers and shakes things up for everyone in a town hiding from the world and reality. The film also stars Stephen Graham (Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, Al Capone on HBO’s Boardwalk Empire).
Produced by George Zakk and Cybil Lui of Olive Branch Productions, shooting begins in early 2014.
