The ‘Five Nights At Freddy’s’ Movie Trailer Released

The popular horror-survival game is hitting the big screen as the trailer released for Five Nights at Freddy’s earlier this week. Created by Scott Cawthon, the trailer opens up at Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria, a familiar place that FNAF (Five Nights at Freddy’s) fans will recognize. Mike Schmidt, played by Josh Hutcherson, is hired by the restaurant’s co-founder William Afton (Matthew Lillard), as a new nighttime security guard. One night, Mike brings along his daughter, Abby Schmidt (Piper Rubio), who must survive the night as the animatronics come to life and attempt to hunt them down. Thankfully for game fans, the premise is similar to the original game.

The film is directed by Emma Tammi (The Wind) and produced by Blumhouse Productions founder Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, InsidiousGet Out, and The Invisible Man).

It is scheduled to release in theaters and on Peacock on October 27th.
