Talented young actress Millie Bobby Brown, who got her start on the hit Netflix series Stranger Things, will attempt to bring book character Enola Holmes to life in an all-new feature. Variety reports that the thirteen-year-old star will be both producing and starring in a film series based on the Enola Holmes Mystery Series by Nancy Springer, which draws on the world created by famous detective novelist Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Springer’s series has been around for almost twelve years now. During that time, it has spawned six books, each of them focusing on Enola, who is a part of a family of literary detective royalty, as she is the sister of the iconic character Sherlock Holmes.
The film, which is not officially titled yet, will be produced under Legendary Entertainment and Brown’s own production company, PCMA Productions.
We will report with more news on the development as it becomes available.
