The intensive hype of Star Wars continues with the reveal of the latest entry’s title, The Last Jedi, leaving Star Wars fans with chills.
(Spoiler warning for all who haven’t seen The Force Awakens) This title seems most likely to reference Luke Skywalker, seen in the end of Episode VII meeting Rey (Daisy Ridley). The film could answer the questions we were left with at the end, such as what was Luke doing all this time, who are The Knights of Wren, and could Rey be a Skywalker? Also, could the “Last Jedi” also be in reference to Rey and not Luke?
I know what you’re all thinking, “when will we see a trailer?” Since The Force Awakens released a trailer two weeks after it’s title reveal during the Superbowl, it is easy to assume the same will apply to The Last Jedi. So while The Patriots and The Falcons duke it out, look out for a possible trailer during the commercial breaks.
The film will be coming out during this Holiday season, written and directed by Rian Johnson(Looper), and J.J. Abrams will be returning as a producer. We all can’t wait, especially since The Force Awakens and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story both lived up to their massive hype.
