Spider-Man is still swinging knockout hits with a now six-week streak, reaching a domestic total of 923 million. Having already crossed a billion a while back, Spider-Man is still showing no signs of slowing down, earning 18 million for the three-day weekend and 23.3 million, and another first-place finish. The Odyssey racked up another 13 million and a second-place finish, beating Coyote vs. Acme, which brought in 11.3 million, rounding out the top 3.
Newcomer By Any Means premiered to 7.4 million and a fourth-place finish. Insidious dropped to fifth with 6.5 million, just beating out Cars re-release, which saw 6.1 million and a sixth-place finish. Buddy saw 5.7 million for its second week and a seventh-place finish. PAW Patrol took eighth place with 3.3 million, beating out Dog Stars at 2.7 million in ninth place. The Akira re-release netted 2.67 million and finished off the top ten in tenth.
