‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Will be Scored by Michael Giacchino

“The rumors are true..” Composer Michael Giacchino tweeted out yesterday along with the Spider-Man: Homecoming logo, revealing he will be scoring another Marvel Cinematic Universe film.

The composer confirmed his involvement after many began to speculate whether or not he was involved after a Reddit user posted that Marvel head, Kevin Feige, had already confirmed this news at a screening for Doctor Strange. With Doctor Stange and Spider-Man: Homecoming, Giacchino has many high-profile projects on his resume, including most recently stepping in to work on Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, saying he’s most excited for fans to hear the theme for Jyn (Felicity Jones). Giacchino won an Academy Award for scoring the 2011 Pixar blockbuster Up.

Spider-Man: Homecoming is directed by Jon Watts and web swings into theaters June 7.
