Spider-Man: Brand New Day continues to break box office records. The film has now become the fastest film to reach $700 million domestically. The film reached this box-office milestone on Wednesday, when it reached an exact domestic total of $704.5 million. Internationally, the film has reached $1.108 billion, bringing its worldwide box office to $1.7 billion.
With that international total, the film has already surpassed that of the previous live-action Spider-Man movie, Spider-Man: No Way Home, which grossed $1.106 billion internationally. Additionally, Brand New Day is close to outgrossing No Way Home’s $1.9 billion worldwide total. The film has already reached number 10 on the list of the highest-grossing films of all time.
These milestones follow a string of others that Brand New Day has already achieved. The film had the highest domestic opening of any film, surpassing Avengers: Endgame. The film also became the second-fastest film to reach $1 billion worldwide, falling just behind Avengers: Endgame. The film has also quickly become the highest-grossing film of 2026, surpassing other box-office hits this year like Toy Story 5, The Odyssey, Michael, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
As the film approaches its third weekend in theaters, its box office will certainly continue to grow. New releases this weekend include David Robert Mitchell’s The End of Oak Street, starring Anne Hathaway and Ewan McGregor, and the animated Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie, based on the popular children’s series.
