SNL’s Please Don’t Destroy Film: A Sneak Peek

The upcoming debut feature film Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain from Saturday Night Live’s trio Please Don’t Destroy is set to premiere on Peacock on November 17th. Freshly released photos provide a glimpse into the humor and adventure that await.

Peacock recently unveiled four photos from the film, offering a preview of the trio’s escapades. These images include late-night host Conan O’Brien playing the role of Marshall’s father, shots of the trio in the wilderness, and a behind-the-scenes moment with director Paul Briganti and producer Judd Apatow.

Planned for an August 18th theatrical release, the film’s debut was rescheduled to November, exclusively on Peacock. This change aligns with the shifting release of Universal’s R-rated animated comedy Strays.

The film follows childhood friends turned co-workers, Ben, Martin, and John, on an adventurous quest for a valuable treasure. Facing challenges like hairless bears, determined park rangers, and a quirky cult leader, the trio realizes that finding where X marks the spot is just the beginning. Notably, Conan O’Brien shines as Ben’s father in the film.

Produced by Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller, the movie showcases the talents of Martin Herlihy, John Higgins, and Ben Marshall, collectively known as Please Don’t Destroy. Directed by Paul Briganti, the film breaks from tradition by having the trio play themselves rather than adopting new personas.

As November 17th approaches, excitement builds for Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain. With its blend of comedy and adventure, the film promises a unique SNL experience that captures the trio’s creativity and humor in a fresh light.
