This morning, Variety reported that Shudder and IFC Films have purchased the new psychological horror film She Will. The film is directed by Charlotte Colbert and is her first feature-length film.
The film stars Alice Krige in the lead role of a woman, who after a double mastectomy, travels to a healing retreat with her nurse. Once there, she begins to question her own life and finds that she has mysterious powers that can enable her to exact revenge on others via her dreams.
Infamous Italian horror maestro Dario Argento is an executive producer of the film, which speaks volumes about the quality of the film by itself. Additionally, the film has been receiving very favorable reviews during its time on the festival circuit.
Alice Krige takes the lead role. The actress has has been no stranger to horror over the years, starring in the classic 1981 film, Ghost Story. She has gone on to star in numerous other horror films including Sleepwalkers, Silent Hill, and most recently in Oz Perkins’ Gretel and Hansel.
