Scarlett Johansson and Colin Jost tied the knot this past weekend. The couple had been engaged since May 2019 and held an intimate ceremony presumably in New York where they both live.
If this year could not get any stranger, the initial announcement was not from the MCU nor the SNL stars, but was announced on Twitter and Instagram by the official ‘Meals on Wheels’ pages. While seemingly nothing should surprise anyone during this endless year that is 2020, this one is still a head scratcher.

Though, it was for a good cause as Johansson and Jost said through that post that “their wedding wish is to help make a difference for vulnerable older adults during this difficult time by supporting @mealsonwheelsamerica.”
The wedding followed COVID-19 protocols and guidelines as the couple took their vows and were officially married. There are no photos currently from their ceremony, which is probably best as Kim Kardashian recently came under fire for her latest Twitter posts following her 40th birthday party on a private island.
Johansson and Jost have been publicly dating since 2018 and their wedding seems like a bright spot for this year. As the Meals on Wheels post says, “Please consider donating to celebrate the happy couple by clicking the link in our bio.”
Jost is currently head writer and co-anchor on Saturday Night Live, which is in its 46th season, while Johansson is awaiting a theatrical release for her solo MCU film Black Widow coming out on May 7, 2021.
