Sir Roger Moore sadly has passed away but he will always be regarded for his iconic work as James Bond in seven classic movies., Moore first took on the rogue spy character in Live and Let Die (1973) taking over the part from Sean Connery. In celebration of his career as well as his humanitarian work as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, AMC Theaters, MGM Studios, and Park Circus have announced special upcoming screenings in both the United States and Europe of 007 classics The Spy Who Loved Me and For Your Eyes Only beginning on May 31st.. Half of all tickets sold will be donated to the UNICEF, an organization that protects the rights of children. Moore became an ambassador for UNICEF starting in 1991.

“A generation of moviegoers across the US and UK remember Sir Roger Moore as their first James Bond. We are honored to celebrate his life with them in theatres next week with two of his most iconic films,” said AMC Theater’s Chief Content & Programming Officer Elizabeth Frank.

So be sure to grab your tickets and head to the theater to experience Bond once again. We’ll enjoy the action, the suspense, and the fun we experienced when the films were first released nearly 40 years ago. Of course, don’t forget Bond’s famous introduction line as well.

Rick Rice: A kid at heart who has loved watching movies from a very young age. Credit must be given to Siskel and Ebert whose film reviews educated me on the world of film inspired me to become a writer myself. I love to read books that range from various topics, copious amounts of research is something that excites me and of course sitting in a movie theater is a highlight of my life. When I'm not watching movies or reading I enjoy listening to foreign music and working hard on finishing my short stories. Currently working on my degree in English with a plan to enroll into Film School with the dream of becoming a screenwriter and director.
