Rachel Brosnahan Discusses ‘Superman: Legacy’ Rumors

Rachel Brosnahan, star of Amazon’s The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, has been rumored to be cast as Lois Lane in James Gunn’s new Superman film titled Superman: Legacy. Comicbook dropped a list of potential people being released in the film, including David Corenswet for Clark Kent, Phoebe Dynevor, Samara Weaving, and Rachel Brosnahan for Lois Lane. 

James Gunn did comment on the rumors, though he suppressed any solidified answer that might have been given. 

Additionally, Brosnahan’s appearance on The View put her on the spot about the rumors, to which she responded, “Take everything you read on the internet with a grain of salt.” She then went on to say, “It would be extraordinary. I grew up watching Lois Lane… I would jump at the chance if it arose.”

Brosnahan has various acting parts that have gained praise over the years. Fans are jumping at the possibility of her playing Lois Lane in one of the newest DC films in production, but for now, there is no true information regarding the film’s casting.
