Pepper Potts To the Rescue in ‘Avengers 4’

We’ve seen Pepper Potts (Gwenyth Paltrow) right at Iron Man’s (Robert Downey Jr.) side since his debut movie in 2008, but it looks like we’re finally going to see much more heroic and armored version of her in the upcoming Avengers 4. After a photo surfaced of Paltrow in a purple Iron suit, fans are using their own talents in attempts to visualize exactly what she’ll look like.

The following photo gained huge recognition on Reddit after it was posted by Alioramus7:

Obviously, since this is a fanmade art piece, the official suit by Marvel will likely be a bit different, but the excitement around this potential Potts story-line in the film is quite palpable. In addition, Paltrow recently gave up a new spoiler about the much-anticipated movie:

“Pepper and Tony have had a real long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they’re married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve.”

Along with Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo has also given a few extra hints about the plot:

“Well we’re doing reshoots starting in September. And then we’ll go back into the international tour, we’ll go on tour. Then you guys will get the second installment. Which we don’t even know what it’s gonna be yet. We’re not just doing reshoots, we’re going to finish the movie, which we really didn’t get to finish totally when we left it last year.”

The film, according to Ruffalo, is still being tweaked by directors Joe Russo and Anthony Russo, and it is set for release on May 3, 2019.
