Paramount Pictures has given Aronofsky’s mother!, which stars Lawrence, an awards friendly release date of October 13th. The latter film was  was previously scheduled to be released on what is now mother!’s release date.

Lawrence is to be joined by a stellar cast consisting of Michelle Pfeiffer (People Like Us), Domhnall Gleeson (Ex Machina), and Ed Harris (Westworld). Apparently Javier Bardem is also set to co-star in the film, although his representatives have yet to comment on the progress of the negotiations. Nonetheless, it’s been reported that Aronofsky already has his heart set on casting Bardem for a specific role, so it’s likely to become official soon.
