Oscar Isaac Expresses Desire for Pedro Pascal Collaboration in Upcoming Project

Oscar Issac, renowned for his notable roles in Moon Knight, Dune, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, has been cast in the newest installment in Marvel production of Spider-Man, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse sequel. Interestingly, Issac has personally requested to have internet fan favorite Pedro Pascal join him as a voice actor in their next project.

In a recent interview with GQ, Issac mentioned that while the current project has already wrapped up in production, he firmly insisted on having Pascal as part of their future endeavor, considering him an excellent choice.

Pascal has garnered significant attention on platforms like TikTok, becoming the internet’s latest heartthrob. His captivating performance in the HBO series The Last of Us has further solidified his reputation as a talented actor, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more after the season’s conclusion.

During the interview, Issac shared his insights on voicing the character Miguel O’Hara and what he finds fascinating about him. He also discussed the challenges from transitioning from traditional acting to lending his voice for animated films. Issac emphasized the collaborative nature of the process, highlighting how the voice, animation and design all blend together to bring a character to life. He described it as a beautiful work of art that emerges from the collective effort of the team.

You only have your voice to be able to express lot of what’s going on. There’s more collaboration involved because it’s your voice, it’s the animators, it’s the design, it’s all these things coming together to create the character. Theres something beautifully communal about putting that together and just adding one element and then seeing it all come together. It’s just such a beautiful work of art.
